Getting started
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are live within 30–60 minutes. You add your services (name, duration, price, deposit rule), set working hours and staff, connect a channel like WhatsApp or Instagram, and optionally upload FAQs or a price list. The AI is ready to answer as soon as a channel is connected.
Which channels can I connect?
WhatsApp Business, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger, a chat widget for your website, and — on Professional and Business plans — an AI-answered phone number. You can start with one channel and add the rest whenever you like; they all share the same AI, calendar and CRM.
Do I need to replace my existing tools?
No. MondayFive syncs two-way with Google Calendar, so anything already in your calendar is respected, and you can import your existing customer list into the CRM. Payments run through your own Stripe or PayPal account.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. Everything is configured through a plain dashboard — no code, no prompt engineering. If you can fill in a form describing your services and hours, you can set up MondayFive.
AI behavior
Will the AI ever make up prices or services?
No. The AI only quotes prices and services from what you've configured — your service list and knowledge base. If a customer asks something it doesn't know, it says so honestly, offers to check, and flags the conversation for you rather than guessing.
What happens when a conversation needs a human?
The AI hands over. Complaints, sensitive topics, unusual requests, or simply a customer asking for a person — the thread is escalated to you with full context, and you can jump into any conversation at any time from the shared inbox. For medical, dental, therapy and wellness businesses, built-in safety lanes make the AI stick strictly to scheduling and logistics.
Which languages does it speak?
Practically all of them. The AI auto-detects the language a customer writes in and replies in the same language — no configuration needed. A single conversation can even switch languages midway.
Will customers know they're talking to an AI?
That's your choice, though we recommend transparency and provide a default introduction that discloses it. In practice, customers care most about getting an instant, accurate answer — and the AI's replies are written in your business's tone, which you can adjust.
Bookings & payments
How does the AI know when I'm actually free?
It reads real availability: your working hours, staff schedules, buffer times, and a two-way Google Calendar sync. While a customer is deciding or paying a deposit, the slot is held so it can't be double-booked from another conversation.
How do deposits work?
Per service, you choose: no deposit, a fixed amount, a percentage, or full prepayment. The AI sends a secure Stripe or PayPal payment link right in the chat, and the booking is confirmed when payment lands. Refunds follow the cancellation policy you set — automatic inside your window, held outside it.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Customer payments go through your own Stripe or PayPal account under their standard processing fees. MondayFive charges only your subscription (plus metered overage if you exceed your plan's quotas) — never a percentage of your revenue.
What reminders do customers get?
A confirmation at booking, a reminder 24 hours before, and a final one 2 hours before — sent on the channel they booked from (plus SMS on higher plans). After the visit, the AI can request a review, and later send a rebooking nudge when the customer is due back.
Billing
How does the 7-day free trial work?
You get the full product — every feature of your chosen plan — for 7 days. A card is required to start, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling during the trial takes two clicks and costs nothing.
What counts against my monthly quota?
AI conversations (one customer thread within a 24-hour window, however many messages it contains), AI voice minutes, and outbound SMS/WhatsApp template sends. Conversations you handle yourself don't count. Your dashboard shows live usage at all times.
What if I exceed my plan's limits?
The AI keeps working and the extra usage is billed at your plan's per-unit overage rate on the next invoice — the exact rates are on the pricing page. Prefer a hard stop? Set a usage cap and the AI hands conversations to you instead of metering.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with proration; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period. Your data remains exportable for 30 days after cancellation.
